What you can move

Two packages, two jobs

Use the home Register. You never upload the live Operator board. This kit keeps its own DreamHost PHP file (data/kit-db.json).

STEP 01 · EXPORT DATA

Save tasks and history

Sign in, then open Manage account. Click Export .mct. Your browser downloads a .mct file (tasks + optional history). Never the Operator board.

STEP 02 · IMPORT DATA

Load that file on the other domain

Open dest Manage account, sign in, Import .mct, pick the file, choose replace/add, confirm. Dest kit URL:

STEP 03 · BACKUP THEME

Save ember colors and chassis layout

Click Backup theme. You get a small JSON of this kit’s tokens (amber / charcoal / taupe) plus layout and nav. Keep it with the .mct data file.

STEP 04 · RESTORE THEME

Paint another copy like this one

On the dest kit, click Restore theme and choose the theme JSON. The page reapplies amber / charcoal without overwriting live mc-board.net Operator chrome.

Next steps (you)

  1. Open this kit home. Confirm amber/charcoal chrome, AngularJS banner, and the Register buttons.
  2. Open Reports. Meters should fill (open / done / history / projects) from the live-board snapshot.
  3. On source Manage account, export a .mct.
  4. On dest Manage account, import the same file. Counts must not double on a second import.
  5. Click Backup theme, then on dest Restore theme. Colors should stay amber / charcoal.
  6. Confirm Operator board is untouched: dashboard.php and reports.php.
  7. On the board card PR-0249, Approve if smoke passed — or list the fail.

Program · phases

What is done vs what is next

Phase 0 — shipped. AngularJS home, DreamHost PHP store, ember restyle, 280 tasks + 500 history snapshot, reports analytics, dest copy under /kits/.

Phase 1 — Operator smoke (now). The seven steps above. PR-0249 stays awaiting_review until you Approve.

Phase 2 — Transfer pack. Keep one .mct + one theme JSON as the handoff. Dest reports should match source counts after import.

Phase 3 — Theme restore. Prove Backup theme / Restore theme on dest. Do not change Operator chrome on dashboard.php.

Phase 4 — Store hardening. Confirm data/kit-db.json stays writable. Refresh the snapshot from api.php only when you ask. Never SFTP tasks.json.

Phase 5 — Later kits. Moon Light / Matrix Green / Aurora Sunset stay vanilla until you name the next framework. Do not rewrite Operator dashboard.php.

Backup vs migrate

Backup data snapshots this host onto a file. Migrate → B is the same snapshot addressed to missioncontroldashboard.net. Reports then show open/done, project mix, and history-by-month from that snapshot.
